Missed the first part, but I cut the hole with an angle grinder, filed the edges, put rubber edging on and riveted the hinge in place.
Just a different angle.
Door cleaned up and riveted on. Lock fitted.
Another angle. Door closed.
Starting to fit the wooden insides. Riveted the optic in place.
This was a wedding gift for my brother and sister in law. Used a sharp point to engrave their names.
More wood put in. Test fitting the cans and booze.
Just another angle.
Finished the wooden insides. Lining the back with red felt, just glued in.
All finished. Very happy with it! It was quite hard to give away after putting in so much time and effort.
